Her innovative experiment secured the top position at the first Genes in Space competition in the U.A.E., earning her an opportunity to collaborate with a team at Harvard University in the U.S. Subsequently, she witnessed a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch her experiment into orbit at Florida's Kennedy Space Center, becoming the pioneer Emirati to conduct an experiment on the International Space Station. Presently, she is engrossed in Mars and asteroid research at the Laboratory of Atmospheric and Space Physics.
