Nestled amidst the elegant gardens and historic architecture, this cultural gem beckons art enthusiasts from around the world to immerse themselves in a captivating journey through centuries of artistic excellence.

Whether it's the allure of Klimt's golden era, the emotive power of Schiele's raw sketches, or the grandeur of the Baroque architecture, the Belvedere Museum promises an unforgettable experience that captures the essence of Vienna's artistic spirit. The Belvedere Museum transcends its role as a mere repository of art; it is a dynamic space that fosters dialogue between past and present, tradition and innovation. Through carefully curated exhibitions and engaging educational programs, it ignites conversations that resonate with both seasoned art connoisseurs and curious minds seeking inspiration.

In celebration of its momentous 300th year, the Belvedere Museum has embarked on a year-long jubilee that intricately weaves together tradition and new beginnings, encapsulated under the theme of "Golden Spring”, taking place until 7^th January 2024. In a European first, the Belvedere presents the works of Louise Bourgeois (1911-2010), who is considered the mother of the feminist avant-garde, in the form of a major solo exhibition. The exhibition hosted in the baroque rooms of the Lower Belvedere is another highlight in this anniversary year and among the remarkable showcases, the Upper Belvedere invites audiences to engage with "Picture This! The Belvedere Collection from Cranach to EXPORT," a collection presentation that transcends the confines of chronological art history, instead focusing on the reciprocal relationship between art and society.
