The Kingdom has come to be known for its rich and diversified culinary culture just like the nation’s varied landscapes. These tasty undiscovered dishes are just waiting to be found in the abundance of restaurants and cafés. Choosing where to eat out is a difficult option, and your best bet would be to keep an eye out for these six Saudi chefs dishing up traditional and international cuisines.

Rakan Al-Oraifi

The 2018 Saudi Excellence in Tourism Awards recognized the TV host and up-and-coming culinary artist as "Best Saudi Chef." He participated in Season two of "Top Chef Middle East" as well. Al-Oraifi enjoys exploring traditional Saudi cuisine in his work and incorporating contemporary aspects.

The 33-year-old is currently in Paris honing his pastry-making skills, having previously served as executive chef at Maiz in Diryah Gate.

Hatoon Al-Toukhi

The chef is hailed on social media as one of the top purveyors of real Italian cuisine. Al-Toukhi leads cooking classes and is an expert pasta taster and food critic with a broad understanding of Italian cuisine.

The Saudi chef also runs a little side business from her home and is currently creating a lifestyle radio show that covers both cookery and lifestyle subjects.

Nour Al-Zaben

The Saudi chef is a judge on the reality food competition "Chopped," having earned a degree from Paris' prestigious Le Cordon Bleu culinary school. She is also the creator of Urb Kitchen in Jeddah and the creator of the menus for popular restaurants all throughout the Kingdom.

She is now recording a travel and cooking program that will air in February and expose the Saudi audience to other international cultures and cuisines while also showcasing the Kingdom to the rest of the globe.

Ahmad Al-Zamel

The chef provides fast and simple meals from all around the world with his 4.2 million+ Instagram followers.

Hatun Madani

Hatun Madani, a self-taught Saudi chef and restaurant proprietor, has established Najabat in Dubai's Dar Wasl Mall in an effort to bring the Hijazi cuisine that is distinctive to her native Saudi Arabia to a larger audience.

Mona Mosly

The well-known chef studied at London's Le Cordon Bleu culinary institute before introducing traditional Arabic food to Parisians. She recently collaborated with VOX Cinemas in Riyadh and Jeddah to create an improved menu for moviegoers that offers a greater selection of Saudi fusion cuisines.
