Exclusive to the Middle East and in celebration of Ramadan 2020, minimalist clothing brand, COS announced the launch of their first ever Ramadan womenswear collection. The 18-piece limited edition capsule merges the label’s classic and practical design with the modest sensibilities of the region in mind.
The brand’s Ramadan 2020 collection stands out as each element of the festive collection remains true to its contemporary yet classic aesthetic. Classic garments are being transformed using lightweight silks in a colour palette of natural beige, cream and navy with bursts of light blue, teal and fuchsia. Always giving a nod to sustainability and responsible fashion, Tencel and Modal fibers made from cellulose pulp are applied to chiffon and cotton twill, resulting in soft, breathable fabrics, perfect for day and eveningwear. Some of COS’s Ramadan 2020 pieces feature coordinated tonal sets, fluid dresses that move with the body, silk neckties, immaculate tailoring and ruched necklines. Karin Gustafsson, COS’s Creative Director spoke about the exciting forthcoming collection and stated, “We are pleased to launch our Ramadan Collection, created exclusively for the Middle East. Fusing COS’ dedication to traditional tailoring and modern design, the collection has been created for customers looking for layering pieces with longer hemlines, sleeves and higher necklines.
