Givenchy Beauty Launches Limited Collection Inspired by Chinese New Year

For the last 5 years, Givenchy has celebrated the Chinese New Year by introducing limited editions of its iconic Le Rouge lipstick and Prisme Libre loose powder.

For 2020, both beauty products will dress up in a vintage look inspired by old Givenchy caps: red leather bearing the golden 4G logo for Prisme Libre, and a red leather case with golden 4G logos for Le Rouge.

Red, the emblematic color of China’s Spring Festival, recalls joy and happiness, then there’s gold; a bright and precious hue, symbolic of prosperity.

Cloaked in the colors of this celebration, Le Rouge and Prisme Libre are available in Givenchy’s best-seller shades.

Prisme Libre No. 5 Satin Blanc combines four complementary pastel shades for an even, matte and luminous glow on the skin. For the lips, Le Rouge No. 316 Orange Absolu will add a bright pop of orange with a velvety finish.
