90s makeup looks are making a major comeback as of late. and as always staying ahead of the curve, Huda Beauty has just dropped eight new 90s inspired lip shades as part of her Matte Power Bullet lipstick range.
Her already lust-worthy collection of 16 stunning matte shades have been a favorite amongst beauty enthusiasts, and with eight new shades to pay tribute to one of the best decades for music, fashion, and pop culture, we couldn’t be more excited to try them out. The new lipsticks are a major throwback to the decade in which we were introduced to the Spice Girls, fawned over the Backstreet Boys and wanted to be Kate Moss, and the shades reflect the “natural pinks, pinky nudes, and spiced browns” of the era.
The new intense matte shades have been cleverly created: 4 have been designed for those with warm skin tones and feature colors such as “Prom Night” (a biscuity pink) and “Game Night” (a brown), and 5 for cooler tones with shades including, “Wedding Day” (a delicate caramel - pink) and “Dirty Thirty: (a feisty, purple toned brown).
Huda Kattan’s intensely matte power bullet lipsticks have taken the entrepreneur around 2 years to develop, and in doing so she had the task to pick just 24 from 137 shades. The texture of the lipstick is smooth and hydrating, whilst maintaining pigments that pop. The 90s inspired lipsticks launch online and in stores on the 25th of September and we cannot wait.
