An ultra cool wave of festival fashion is emerging out of Indio, California as music fans turn up to watch the lineup of fabulous performances from talents like Lady Gaga, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar at The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival. The annual event, taking place over two weekends from 14-23 April, is seen as a summer festival trendsetter and the first weekend’s fashion exhibits were rife with teeny-weeny jean shorts, dad hats, retro glasses, flowing (mostly floral) maxi dresses with thigh-high slits and off-the-shoulder styles. Body suits, fringes, sparkles and branded trainers were also seen everywhere. Click through to see the creative ways some of the biggest fashion influencers and stars juxtaposed the desert heat with cool style statements at various events like Levi’s hosted brunch, the REVOLVE festival, Rachel ZOEasis, Moschino’s Candy Crush Desert Party and POPSUGAR's CFDA brunch.
