Hiyam Al- Kilani is the first female Saudi director. She studied in the Higher Institute for Cinema in the Arts Academy and served as the head of the female section at the Saudi Television channel and directed several local programmes and documentaries on Channels One and Saudi Television such as “Mukassart” (Nuts), “Bila Rotoush” (Without Embellishments), and a political program “On the Chess Board”.
